Australian opposition leader calls on US to ratify Kyoto Protocol

Örjan Lundberg  [2007-04-21  09:05]   #1868 The Australian opposition leader Kevin Rudd is visiting the United States for the first time since becoming leader of the opposition in Australia. During his visit has he expressed the need for Australia, US and China to ratify the Kyoto protocol: "Given that it is projected that Chinas greenhouse gas emissions will exceed those of the US by 2009, the planet demands that all three of us engage in the necessary international governance arrangements to cap greenhouse gas emissions before it is too late."
